BeaterCore Car Tier List

Rank the job, not a fantasy badge. The starter beater is S-tier until it is not.

Car Tier List

BeaterCore does not hand you a licensed showroom. The cars are cheap rusty beaters, and this wiki will not invent model names to look like a database. Rank roles. The starter project that can finish three heats is S-tier. A second purchase that sits on jack stands while you are broke is D-tier. That is the whole list, expanded into a useful argument.

Use this page after getting started and beside the parts tier list. Rubber and oil decide more races than a different silhouette.

S — The reliable starter

Whatever hatch or box you spawn with is S-tier if it has:

  • A roof spare that auto-mounts on reset.
  • Tires that match the current hub season.
  • Oil that will survive heat three.
  • A driver who books time trials before contact.

That car already exists in your save. Do not replace it for prestige. Launch screenshots show mixed lots of tired hatches and wagons; they are all the fantasy. Finish events. Then take pictures.

A — A second beater with a job

Buy a second project when the first one can complete a career week twice without a tow and you have a specific job the first car is bad at. The honest jobs:

  • Weather specialist — a winter set lives on car B so you stop swapping on the calendar.
  • Contact dummy — a cheaper shell you are willing to fold in online races so the career engine stays home. Wear in lobbies matches career; see multiplayer.
  • Parts mule — only if garage space and cash are actually surplus, not hopeful.

A second car is A-tier when it has a sentence you can say out loud. “This one holds the ice tires” is a sentence. “It looked cooler in the lot” is not.

B — The store temptation

Anything the auto parts ecosystem makes you want because it is there. A different body with the same bald tires is still a B that plays like a D. If the wallet is still scared of a 500-cash wheel, you are not in this tier yet. Stay in garage repair and buy rubber.

C — Furniture on wheels

A project you are restoring for the stall, not for the grid. Valid as a toy after the racing car is honest. Invalid as a first purchase. Garage furniture and a pretty shell are the same impulse.

D — The empty-wallet second car

Buying another beater before you own a spare, oil, and a matching set. You now have two ways to DNF. Career payouts were tuned so honest events replace what they eat — they were not tuned so you can run a dealership.

How to decide in the lot

Walk the lot like you walk the garage. Interact, look at tires, look at whether you can afford to bruise it. Playtests and launch clips show mixed yellow hatches, wagons, and tired sedans in the same fenced yard. They are all beaters. Pick the one whose failure you can pay for.

Track-specific surprise setups, the store blurb’s online brag, still work on the starter if you tune the rubber. You do not need a new chassis to troll a lobby with ice tires on an ice map. You need the tires.

Mods and editor cars are a separate column. If a workshop pack adds vehicles, rank them by the same rule: can it finish three heats with a spare on the roof. If the pack is required in a lobby, read mods first so you can actually spawn it.

The only upgrade path this wiki endorses

  1. Make the starter S-tier with parts.
  2. Finish career weeks.
  3. Optionally add one A-tier job car.
  4. Never own two D-tier projects.

If a friend says a specific body is “meta,” ask which surface and which spare they packed. If they cannot answer, it is not a tier list. It is a screenshot. Come back here with a calendar and a receipt.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common BeaterCore questions.

What is the best car in BeaterCore?

The beater you can afford to finish three heats with. This wiki does not invent model names. Make the starter reliable via parts first.

When should I buy a second car?

After the first completes career weeks twice and you have a job for the second (winter set, contact dummy). See career.

Do online races need a different car?

Only if you refuse to bruise the career engine. Wear is the same. A cheap contact dummy is A-tier; a unique dying engine is not.

Will you add named model tiers later?

If the game publishes a stable roster, yes. Until then, ranking jobs beats fabricating a showroom.
